Hector Diaz knows about the affects of Socialism. Born to refugees from Castro’s Cuba in Philadelphia, PA in 1961 he was raised on the promise of the America that welcomed his parents. He was raised to understand and appreciate hard work, honesty and love of country.

After graduating from Gettysburg High School in 1979 he decided to give back to his country and joined the Air Force in 1980.

After basic he went to Explosive Ordinance Disposal School. Here he learned to think critically and swiftly in a job where live and death decisions are made daily and mistakes can carry the ultimate consequences. He was twice chosen to support the Secret Service for then Vice-President George Bush, Sr and once for Prime Minister Gandhi.

In 1994 he retrained into computer programming where he learned Assembler programming and further refined his logic and critical thinking skills. It was at this time that he moved to Midwest City, OK and began programming for the Air Force AWACS system and in 1996 went to Saudi Arabia in support of US operations in Iraq and Kuwait.

Hector moved to Moore,OK in 1998 and retired from the Air Force in 2000 after support operations in Kosovo. Since that time he has continued Assembly programming as a Software Engineer in Del City, OK.

A lifetime of decisive, critical thinking, a unique up-bringing exposing the dangers of socialism and his years spent overseas (Greece, Spain and England) make Hector the obvious choice for Oklahoma in these trying times.
